Trusts & Estates Attorney- Connecticut
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a skilled Trusts & Estates Associate to join its respected department. This role presents a unique opportunity for an attorney with 3 plus years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax compliance. You will have access to high-quality mentorship while managing complex matters with a direct line to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a diverse range of estate planning matters, including sophisticated drafting of wills, trusts, and other related documents.
Manage estate and trust administration, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide tax planning advice and assistance on estate and gift tax matters.
Collaborate with senior partners and work independently on client matters, taking on significant responsibility.
Cultivate strong client relationships by providing expert legal counsel and clear communication.
Support and mentor junior associates and staff within the department.
Qualifications:
Trust administration, and estate and tax compliance.
Exceptional organizational, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-focused approach.
LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary range of $160,000 – $275,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
