Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Lexis Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and client advisories.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, wills, trusts, and other essential paperwork with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings with confidence and professionalism.
- Manage case files efficiently within the law office environment while maintaining meticulous records of all legal activities.
- Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting various practice areas to ensure compliance and strategic advantage.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored legal solutions that align with their goals.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction required.
- Proven experience within a focused corporate specialty.
- Exceptional research skills utilizing Lexis Nexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
- Demonstrated ability in legal drafting and writing skills that clearly articulate complex issues.
- Strong negotiation abilities complemented by excellent communication skills.
- Prior legal administrative experience is preferred to efficiently manage case documentation and office workflows.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
