A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Transactions Associate to join its highly regarded Atlanta office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated mergers & acquisitions, private equity, strategic transactions, and general corporate matters within one of the nation’s premier corporate practices.
The Role
- Mergers & acquisitions transactions
- Private equity acquisitions and investments
- Strategic corporate transactions
- Corporate governance and business counseling
- Transaction structuring and due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents
- Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
- Collaboration with a nationally recognized corporate team
Ideal Background
- Approximately 3–4 years of corporate transactional experience
- Significant experience with M&A transactions required
- Experience representing private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, sellers, or portfolio companies is a plus
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills involving acquisition agreements and transaction documents
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school required
- Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Georgia

Compensation
Expected compensation ranges from approximately $260,000 – $390,000+ depending on class year, experience, and overall qualifications.
