Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Associate (Class of 2023 – 2020) to join a market-leading shareholder activism team at a top-tier law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in shareholder activism, including areas such as proxy contests, cooperation agreements, and SEC beneficial ownership filings (e.g., 13D, 13G, and Forms 3 & 4). Experience in corporate governance is also highly valued, and a background in advising on public M&A transactions or general securities law matters is a plus.
