I am working with a high-growth global technology and infrastructure organization engineering advanced systems for the next century. They are a market leader in developing pioneering solutions that support mission-critical operations across several essential industries, including semiconductors, data centers, and medical infrastructure.
To support their rapid trajectory, they are seeking a Corporate Secretary—a high-impact, legally trained executive to serve as a strategic force multiplier for the CEO.
The Role
This is not a traditional "execution-only" legal role. You will operate at the critical intersection of law, business strategy, and executive decision-making. You will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, driving high-priority initiatives, managing board governance, and coordinating complex legal activities in close alignment with senior leadership.
This leadership position is designed for a top-tier legal professional who thrives on strategy, oversight, and executive-level coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO on legal, corporate, and business strategy. Translate high-level priorities into actionable plans across the organization.
- Legal Oversight & Strategy: Support the overall legal posture of the company, ensuring that legal risk management is perfectly aligned with aggressive commercial objectives.
- Board & Governance Leadership: Lead all board-related matters, including governance structures, meeting preparation, shareholder communications, and best practices.
- Strategic Transactions: Provide guidance on M&A, financing transactions, risk posture, and major dispute strategies.
- Initiative Management: Drive the execution of high-priority initiatives across legal, corporate development, and governance functions.
Qualifications
- Experience: J.D with 10+ years of professional experience, including foundational training at a Top-Tier Law Firm (Corporate, M&A, or Litigation).
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to operate at the Executive or Board level.
- Industry Alignment: Experience in technology, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is strongly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong expertise in corporate governance, M&A, and sophisticated financing transactions.
- Communication: Exceptional strategic thinking skills with the ability to bridge the gap between legal complexity and business execution.
- Global Mindset: Ability to navigate complex, global business environments effectively.
