Beck Legal Advisors is hiring a Corporate & Real Estate Associate for our Fort Lauderdale office.
Beck Legal Advisors works with clients in the areas of corporate and real estate law. For over 25 years, Beck’s founder has represented businesses and individuals across many industries, including aviation, hospitality, construction, agriculture, and real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Beck serves as general counsel to many of our clients, advising on everything from corporate governance and contract negotiation to venture capital, M&A, and private equity transactions, alongside a full residential and commercial real estate practice.
This role is for an attorney with at least 5 years of experience handling business and real estate transactions who wants to work directly with clients and implement deal strategies rather than simply drafting agreements and proofreading. From day one, you will work directly with Beck’s founder and clients. Your typical day may include: (1)negotiating and preparing a real estate contract; (2) reviewing and analyzing an M&A diligence data room; (3) providing a client advise on a joint venture deal structure; (4) forming a business entity and preparing an operating agreement; and (5) negotiating a commercial lease.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing
- 5+ years of corporate and real estate transactional experience
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across both practice areas
- Proven ability to manage matters independently and interact directly with clients
- Practical, business-oriented judgment and close attention to detail
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with significant responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish proficiency, given our diverse and international client base
- Prior experience at a regional or national firm
- Experience with owner-operated or closely held business clients
- Desire to build a book of business, or grow an existing one
Compensation
Compensation and benefits are commensurate with experience, with a structure designed to reward performance, originations, and professional growth.

Pay: $150,000.00 – $235,000.00 per year
