Corporate Paralegal / Contracts Administrator Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at Raleigh Enterprises
Bressler, Amery & Ross, a national, mid-sized law firm with over 100 lawyers is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal based in our Ft. Lauderdale office. The Paralegal will support attorneys in securities-related arbitration and state and federal court business litigation. It is a 35-hour work week position, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required when business needs arise.
Primary tasks include:
Gathering and analyzing of documents;
Electronic review and production of documents;
Preparing Orders of Production and/or Subpoenas to third-parties;
Interaction with firm personnel, outside counsel, external vendors (particularly third-party discovery vendors) and clients;
Organizing case files and documents;
Preparing standard form responses;
Assisting with trial preparation;
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases;
Performing legal research;
Supporting other projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education:
A minimum of 4-years Commercial or Business Litigation experience at a law firm as a Paralegal required;
Experience with litigation support software and e-discovery platforms, including Relativity;
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Strong analytical skills;
Self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple tasks.
