Trueline’s client, a prestigious law firm in New York City, is seeking a Capital Markets & Corporate Paralegal to join their team in supporting high-level corporate transactions and filings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of legal professionals on complex corporate matters.

What You’ll Do as the Capital Markets & Corporate Paralegal:
Assist in the formation and maintenance of various legal entities
Organize and manage legal documents for pre and post-closing processes
Support corporate transactions through due diligence, resolution preparation, and checklist management
Draft and distribute Section 13 and Section 16 filings
Obtain CUSIP and Edgar Codes
Collaborate with attorneys on additional tasks as needed
Must-Haves as the Capital Markets & Corporate Paralegal:
5+ years of experience in capital markets and corporate paralegal work
Expertise in mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and entity formations
Proficiency in preparing organizational documents, corporate minutes, and resolutions
Experience with IPOs and Exchange Act filings
Excellent drafting, analytical, and proofreading skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal database management
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to work in-office in New York City 2-3 days per week
Nice-To-Haves as the Capital Markets & Corporate Paralegal:
Experience with iManage or similar document management systems
Familiarity with web technologies relevant to legal work
Previous experience in a large law firm environment
