We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support our legal team, preferably with a background in handling commercial and corporate secretarial matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·      Review and manage contracts and agreements.
·      Assist in legal research on regulations, corporate governance, and industry-specific compliance requirements, when requested.
·      Assist in all Board and Board Committee matters, including the facilitation of Board meetings, communication and coordination with Directors.
·      Assist to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including but not limited to SGX rules, PDPA regulations, companies Act and employment laws and inter regulatory requirements.
·      Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal policies and legal processes.
·      Maintain legal records, contracts, and corporate governance documents.
·      Assist in due diligence for business transactions, partnerships, and acquisitions.
·      Draft internal legal communications, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance across departments.
·      Coordinate with internal teams and external legal firms on legal matters affecting business operations.
·      Assist to coordinate and facilitate matters between external counsel and internal stakeholders.
·      Assist in the management of external counsel in all dispute resolution and litigation matters, including the preparation of case files, coordinating with external legal counsel, and tracking case progress.
·      Monitor updates to laws and regulations and advise stakeholders on necessary actions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
·      Preferably a Polytechnic Diploma in Law & Management or a Degree in Law.
·      Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with experience in a law firm or a listed company.
·      Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate secretarial matters, and listed company matters.
·      Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
·      High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with various departments.
·      Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in legal matters with maturity.
