A law firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate mergers and acquisitions private equity associate attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience gained in an Am Law firm setting.
Duties:
Conduct legal research and analysis related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate governance matters.
Draft and review transactional documents, including merger, asset purchase, and shareholder agreements.
Assist with due diligence investigations and manage data rooms.
Participate in negotiations and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate transactional matters.
Assist with general corporate matters and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience in an Am Law firm.
Excellent writing and analytical skills.
Experience working in an Am Law 100 law firm.
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida Bar.
Education:
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Admission to the Florida Bar.
