Manpower Malta are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for our clients Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team.
The role would involve advising and assisting clients in connection with (among others):
Company formation and continuation of companies to and from Malta;
Drafting and negotiation of shareholders agreements and joint venture agreements;
Directors duties, corporate governance and corporate compliance;
Mergers & acquisitions;
Issues of equity and debt securities on regulated markets and secondary offerings;
Insolvency and restructuring; and
General corporate and commercial law matters.
While candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, the ideal candidate will:
Possess a Law degree and warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta;
Have good written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese;
Have at least 2 years experience in corporate law;
Be pro-active and able to work against tight deadlines; and
Be willing to undergo continued professional development and training.
