Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked international law firm seeking a 3rd to 5th year Corporate M and A Associate to join its Dallas, TX office on a hybrid basis.
This role offers the opportunity to support sophisticated transactional work for public and private companies, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, securities offerings, compliance, and general corporate matters.
The platform is well established and collaborative, with partner led deal teams and access to a broader national and international corporate practice. The Dallas office is integrated into a larger transactional group while offering associates meaningful visibility and responsibility on active deal teams.
The Opportunity
You will take meaningful responsibility across the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, coordination of workstreams, and support through signing and closing. The work is centered on M and A and private equity transactions, with additional exposure to venture capital, securities offerings, securities compliance, and general corporate matters depending on experience and client needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 3rd to 5th year Corporate M and A Associate with:
- 3 to 5 years of M and A, private equity, or broader corporate transactional experience
- Active membership in the Texas bar
- Client ready drafting skills and strong negotiation fundamentals for complex corporate transactions
- Proven ability to manage transaction process, diligence, document flow, timelines, and closing logistics
- Experience with venture capital transactions, securities offerings, or securities law compliance is a plus

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this role is USD 235,000 to USD 365,000, depending on class year, experience and other relevant factors.
