Position: Corporate Legal Counsel at The Mint

This role reports to the Director & Senior Legal Counsel, serving as a pivotal legal advisor across various areas, including contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and procurement. Candidates should have a minimum of 7–10 years of legal experience with expertise in commercial law, public procurement, and employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on procurement, commercial, and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
• Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support internal teams with business-oriented legal advice
• Monitor legal developments to update relevant policies
Requirements:
• University degree in law from a recognized institution
• Member in good standing of a provincial Bar
• 7–10 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate/commercial law and regulatory compliance
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
