Overview: M SEARCH is thrilled to partner with a growing real estate development firm in Miami on their Legal Counsel search. The client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support and manage a broad range of corporate, real estate, and commercial legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management, with the ability to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including service agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and real estate-related documents.
Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development matters.
Advise on corporate governance, entity formation, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Support and manage outside counsel relationships and litigation matters as needed.
Identify and mitigate legal risks across the organization and recommend effective solutions.
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Conduct legal research and stay up to date with relevant laws and industry standards.
Support strategic business initiatives with sound legal insight and risk assessment.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
3–5 years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on real estate, corporate law, or a combination of both.
Experience with contract law, commercial real estate transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
