Roles and Responsibilities
Legal Advisory and Corporate Governance
Provide legal counsel on business operations, including corporate law, labor law, contract law, and intellectual property law.
Review and draft business contracts, agreements, and legal documents to mitigate legal risks.
Analyze and assess legal risks, providing recommendations on risk management strategies.
Regulatory Compliance and Legal Oversight
Ensure that the organization operates in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external legal advisors.
Conduct legal training and provide guidance to employees and relevant departments.
Dispute Resolution and Litigation Management
Manage legal disputes both internally and externally, including mediation, negotiation, and litigation when necessary.
Coordinate with external legal counsel and attorneys for legal proceedings.
Develop legal strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.
Business Legal Affairs and Contract Management
Support corporate transactions such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Joint Ventures, and investment activities.
Review and draft legal documents related to corporate business transactions.
Establish and maintain an effective legal document management system.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law or a related field.
Attorney license (preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in corporate legal affairs.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, labor law, contract law, intellectual property law, and data protection laws (PDPA, GDPR).
Excellent negotiation, legal analysis, and dispute resolution skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
