We’re Hiring: Contract Legal Counsel at Isha Architects | Hybrid (On-Site & Remote)
Isha Architects, a leading engineering and architectural consultancy based in Amman, Jordan, is seeking a Contract Legal Counsel to join our team on a flexible, project-based arrangement. This is a unique opportunity for a talented lawyer to support a dynamic firm at the intersection of law, engineering, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Contract Legal Counsel, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the firm’s operations and projects run smoothly from a legal standpoint. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with Jordanian law and international standards.
Advising on risk management for complex engineering and architectural projects.
Providing legal support on construction and engineering laws, environmental regulations, and other relevant legal frameworks.
Supporting dispute resolution through mediation or arbitration, ensuring that the firm’s interests are protected.
Assisting in intellectual property matters related to designs, patents, and proprietary technologies.
Qualifications:
Law degree with a focus or experience in construction, engineering, or corporate law.
At least 3-5 years of legal experience in a corporate, construction, or engineering environment.
Solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and construction-related regulations.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is required.
Based in Amman, Jordan with the ability to work hybrid (on-site and remote).
