Are you a seasoned corporate attorney seeking a platform to elevate your practice? A leading AmLaw 200 national business firm is expanding its corporate team in NYC and is seeking a senior-level attorney with deep experience in transactional work to play a key role in the continued growth of its Corporate Practice Group.

In this role, you will:
• Serve as lead counsel on complex corporate transactions, including M&A, equity and debt financings, and strategic joint ventures.
• Advise clients – ranging from emerging growth companies to mature enterprises – on governance, structuring, and day-to-day commercial matters.
• Draft and negotiate key deal documentation including purchase agreements, shareholder and operating agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Partner with colleagues across practice areas to deliver strategic, business-focused legal solutions.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will:
• Bring at least 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably from a well-regarded law firm.
• Have significant experience leading transactions and advising on a broad range of corporate matters.
• Possess strong drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage relationships with sophisticated clients.
• Be entrepreneurial, collaborative, and interested in growing their practice in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

Compensation:
Competitive salary starting from $180,000+, commensurate with experience.
