Position: Corporate Law Clerk for Ontario Firm

This role is perfect for experienced Corporate Law Clerks with at least 3 years in an Ontario legal setting. You’ll support lawyers on diverse corporate transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, by maintaining corporate records, preparing key documents, and conducting searches. Your skills in document management and procedural compliance will be vital in this collaborative firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support M&A transactions and due diligence processes
• Maintain minute books, resolutions, and corporate records
• Draft documents for in corporations and corporate changes
• Conduct various corporate and litigation searches
• Ensure timely compliance with corporate filing deadlines
Requirements:
• Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent experience
• 3+ years as a Corporate Law Clerk in Ontario
• Strong experience in M&A and corporate transactions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
