Corporate Law Advisor for Startups Jobs in United States at One Stop Swap, Inc.
Stalwart Law Group, a highly respected boutique civil litigation firm in Los Angeles, specializing in the representation of injured victims, is seeking a full-time paralegal to join our medical malpractice team. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years medical malpractice litigation experience in California based law firms.
Responsibilities include handling all aspects of medical malpractice claims from A-Z: frequent client contact, requesting medical records, calendaring upcoming court hearings and other deadlines, filing, drafting complaints, pleadings, discovery, arbitration and mediation briefs and assisting with pre-trial preparation.
Qualifications:
ABA Paralegal Certificate (strongly preferred)
5+ years of litigation experience handling medical malpractice cases
Knowledge of State filing and service procedures and court guidelines
Experience handling high volume of medical malpractice cases
Able to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, experts and opposition counsel
Tech savvy and comfortable working in a paperless system
Time management and attention to detail is imperative
Team oriented and independently capable
Knowledge and experience with firm systems: Slack, Clio, Asana, Dropbox
Exceptional organizational skills plus effective oral and written communication skills
