Compensation
Annual salary range: $60,000 – $80,000

Responsibilities
Prepare, format, proofread, and revise a wide range of legal and business documents, including transactional materials, correspondence, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with firm standards and legal requirements across all documentation
Manage corporate files, including opening and closing files, completing client intake and “Know Your Client” (KYC) documentation, and maintaining file tracking systems
Support day-to-day practice operations, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
Assist with billing processes, including time entry, invoice preparation, and drafting account-related correspondence
Prepare financial and administrative requests such as cheque requisitions, trust deposits, and trust withdrawals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client contact and matter information in internal systems
Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders as required
Qualifications
Legal Administrative Assistant diploma or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution
2–3 years of experience in a law firm environment, ideally supporting a corporate or securities practice
Working knowledge of corporate transactions and related legal terminology
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent written communication skills, with strong grammar, proofreading, and formatting ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in all work products
