Position: Corporate Counsel, Amazon Legal

You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for a broad range of matters, including subscriptions compliance, product support, marketing, and privacy. You will work directly with the business, providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and serving as counsel on strategic issues. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business
flexibility
and freedom to move quickly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – 5+ years of legal experience – Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience of
a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work – Ability to demonstrate great judgment even in ambiguous situations – Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to
cross-functional teams
– Ability to build rapport with and earn trust of business partners – Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines – Strong written and oral
communication skills
