Our client is seeking a talented and driven Corporate Counsel with 5+ years of experience from a top law firm or in-house role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial contracts. The Corporate Counsel will provide legal support across a broad range of legal matters and work closely with our business teams to help navigate legal risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of international commercial contracts, particularly engagement and services contracts with the company’s clients and suppliers. You will support the team’s Partners and Principals with their client engagements and negotiation of contracts. Advise on legal risks associated with new and ongoing business initiatives, including technology implementations, data usage, and third-party relationships. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure
legal compliance
and support business growth.
Manage and coordinate with external legal advisors as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide legal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York, Texas or California State Bar. Minimum 4 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm, with a focus on commercial contracts. Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with a
