Founded in 2018, Marti is Türkiye’s leading mobility app, offering multiple transportation services to its riders. Marti operates a ride-hailing service that matches riders with car, motorcycle, and taxi drivers, and operates a large fleet of rental e-mopeds, e-bikes, and e-scooters. All of Marti’s offerings are serviced by proprietary software systems and IoT infrastructure.

Marti invites applications from dynamic, innovative and highly motivated candidates for the following position;

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the company’s overall PR and communications strategy

Craft compelling narratives tailored for both conventional outlets (newspapers, magazines, broadcast) and digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media professionals across traditional and digital outlets

Oversee development of press kits, media materials, talking points, and editorial calendars

Guide internal teams on how to present brand-aligned stories and messages

Manage incoming media requests and support team responses with accurate, timely information

Supervise agency partners and freelancers (PR, copywriters, content producers)

Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and visual messaging across all channels

Support C-level and department leads in strategic messaging, op-eds, and bylined content (without acting as spokesperson)

Monitor media trends and emerging digital platforms to keep our presence current and culturally relevant

Use media analytics tools to track coverage, assess impact, and optimize strategy

Lead crisis messaging and scenario planning for reputational risk management

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in PR, strategic communications, or media

Strong track record developing integrated communications strategies across print, digital, and social

Deep understanding of both newsroom operations and digital platform Dynamics

Skilled at managing agency and vendor relationships

Exceptional writing, editorial, and content planning abilities

Comfortable working with executive teams and cross-functional stakeholders

Ability to think strategically and execute quickly

Fluency in media analytics tools (e.g.Interpress, etc.) a plus

Experience leading teams and managing cross-channel campaigns
