Role Description

Our client is seeking a talented and driven Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our dynamic legal team in Dubai. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, complex transactions across M&A, private equity, venture capital, and corporate technology matters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, structuring, and transaction execution
  • Support private equity and venture capital transactions, including investments, exits, and shareholder arrangements
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements
  • Advise on corporate governance and general commercial law matters
  • Work on technology-related contracts, including SaaS, licensing, data protection, and digital services agreements
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions (e.g.onshore and FZ, and KSA, among others)
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management

 

Key Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ PQE gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal team
  • Strong experience in corporate and commercial law, ideally with exposure to M&A, investment transactions and/or technology contracts
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Fluency in English is essential (and we are seeking strong Arabic skills)
  • Strong academic background (LLB or equivalent; LLM is a plus)
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
