We are looking for an experienced Corporate Commercial Attorney qualified in the United States but based in South Africa to join our growing AI-augmented legal services platform.
At AirCounsel, we combine exceptional legal expertise with advanced AI technology to deliver faster, smarter, and more scalable legal support to businesses internationally, including US-based clients.
As part of our team, you'll work at the forefront of legal innovation, leveraging AI-enabled workflows while providing the practical commercial judgment that only experienced attorneys can deliver.
What You'll Do
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts
• Advise clients on corporate, commercial, governance, and compliance matters
• Support cross-border legal projects and international transactions
What We're Looking For
• Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
• 5+ years of post qualification experience in the US market with strong experience in corporate and commercial law
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Excellent communication skills and sound commercial judgment
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, technology-driven environment
• Experience supporting international clients or cross-border matters is a plus
