Location: Phoenix or Scottsdale, Arizona | Experience Level: 5+ Years
A nationally respected AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a skilled Corporate Attorney to join its business law team in either its Phoenix or Scottsdale office. This is a strong opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to handle complex business transactions and collaborate directly with clients on high-impact corporate matters.
About the Role
The attorney will work on a wide range of transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, governance, supply and purchase agreements, and regulatory compliance. Candidates will regularly represent clients in negotiations and help guide strategic business decisions through well-crafted legal solutions. A background in business development is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate a variety of corporate and transactional agreements
Handle entity formation, governance documents, and operational agreements
Advise clients on M&A transactions and compliance obligations
Represent clients in the negotiation of business deals across industries
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop strategic legal solutions
What They’re Looking For
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to practice law in Arizona or ability to waive in
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and transactional law
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Business development experience is a plus
Solid academic credentials and ability to thrive in a collaborative setting
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range is $200,000 – $250,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and location. The firm also offers:
