This intergeneration ally led Corporate M&A practice, known for representing clients in sophisticated “Big Law level” matters, is bullish about current deals and deal flow for 2025, adding to their team. This opportunity to become part of a team that has both leadership and bench strength is foundational for ideal mid-level Associate candidates with 4-to-7 years of M&A experience, preferably in Big Law or sophisticated peer firm practice.
The Associate will have experience managing deal processes, due diligence, and client relationships, while supervising junior associates and paralegals, and handling day-to-day demands and workflow requirements on a variety of M&A and venture capital-related matters.
Ideal candidates will have strong M&A and venture capital skills, including experience with leading the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents for asset and equity transactions. Experience with credit agreements, equity and debt financings, franchising, securities, joint ventures, and entity structuring, including LLC operating agreements preferred.
This is an opportunity to collaborate closely with partners and external stakeholders in a high-profile role, with recognition and advancement. Exceptional legal writing, negotiation, and analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice in NY State required. Compensation includes salary ($210K-to-$255K poss.+) and a generous hours-based bonus, along with a strong benefits package.
