Position: Corporate Associate (Emerging Companies and Growth)

100 firm is seeking an experienced associate to support venture capital, emerging growth, and mergers and acquisitions. If you are seeking high-quality complex work at a reasonable pace (1800 hours/year) with great colleagues, this is a great opportunity!

The ideal candidate will have experience handling venture capital financing and M&A transactions and providing general legal advice on corporate matters.
Duties for the Corporate Associate Attorney Role:
Represent emerging growth companies and institutional investors in venture capital financing.
Handle mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions for diverse clients.
Advise startups on corporate governance, formation, and day-to-day operational matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
Required Credentials:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emerging Growth Venture Capital legal practice.
Demonstrated expertise in representing both investors and issuers in venture capital financing.
Substantial experience in M&A transactions and corporate advisory work.
Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.
Compensation / Benefits:
Cravath scale pay from 2 yr Associate or higher.
