We are currently working with an elite, global law firm, who is looking to hire a high-caliber associate to join its growing Corporate group in New York. This team handles sophisticated, groundbreaking legal work and offers a dynamic environment for attorneys to shape their career trajectories.
This role will involve:
- Structuring & Negotiation: Drafting and negotiating complex derivative instruments, including equity-linked products, credit derivatives, and interest rate swaps.
- Equity Derivatives: Lead work on accelerated share repurchases (ASRs), call spreads, and collar transactions.
- Regulatory Advisory: Providing guidance on the evolving regulatory landscape affecting the derivatives market.
Requirements
- J.D. from a leading law school.
- Prior Capital Markets experience – ideally gained at a national law firm.
- Candidates with a general transactional background and a demonstrated interest in Capital Markets will also be considered.
Compensation & Benefits
- Market Base Salary: ($225,000 to $365,000) depending on experience and skills.
