We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Associate to join our legal team. The successful candidate will advise clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, draft and review legal documents, conduct legal research, and support complex transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate and commercial agreements.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and reports.
- Support mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and other commercial transactions.
- Liaise with clients, government authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in due diligence exercises and transaction documentation.
- Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments affecting corporate and commercial law.
Qualifications
- LLB or equivalent law degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Strong drafting, legal research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- An LLM is an advantage.
