Conveyancing Executive | Cheltenham TSR Legal are proud to be working with a Top 50 Law Firm, that is continuing to expand its Real Estate Finance team following a sustained period of growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Conveyancing Executive to join one of the firms fastest-growing departments, working alongside an experienced and collaborative team on a broad range of high-quality real estate finance matters.
The team advises both lenders and borrowers across a wide variety of property transactions, including acquisitions, development finance, refinancing, and secured lending matters. Clients include mainstream banks, challenger banks, bridging lenders, peer-to-peer lenders, developers, and private borrowers. The Opportunity You will play a key role in supporting complex and varied real estate finance transactions while managing your own workload with increasing autonomy.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing files and undertaking legal work with minimal supervision Handling routine file management including file opening, billing, and compliance processes Raising and reviewing enquiries and progressing transactions efficiently Drafting and negotiating legal documentation using precedents and templates Preparing contract reports, completion statements, exchanges, and completions Maintaining regular communication with clients, lenders, agents, and third parties Supervising and supporting junior team members Undertaking legal research and presenting findings accurately and efficiently Supporting wider business development and marketing initiatives Ensuring all work is completed in line with compliance, risk management, and GDPR requirements About You The successful candidate will have:
Experience with in residential conveyancing, commercial property, or real estate finance Strong technical and drafting abilities The ability to manage matters independently and work proactively Excellent communication and client relationship skills Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues would be advantageous Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively under pressure Whats on Offer The firm offers an excellent benefits package and a supportive environment where career progression is genuinely encouraged, including:
