Introduction:
Our client, a well-established law firm, is looking for an admitted Junior Conveyancer, Notary Public to join their branch in Paarl. The candidate must have full knowledge of bonds and transfers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attending to signature of transfer and bond documents for all major banks.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Attending to signature of documents at their offices located in Paarl and Durbanville respectively as well as externally at clients’ preferred locations.
- Preparing and registering long-term lease agreements (notarial leases) and provide legal advice pertaining to such matters.
- Preparing and registered antenuptial contracts and provide legal advice pertaining to such matters and other notarial work.
- Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel for signature of documents
- Flexibility and availability to accommodate client schedules and expectations
- Strong attention to detail during document execution
- A team player who values collaboration and a positive, supportive work culture

- Emotional maturity
- Excellent communication skills both Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
Qualification and Experience
- LLB Degree from an accredited University
- Attorney
- Admitted Conveyancer and Notary Public
- Minimum 2 – 3 years post-admission conveyancing experience in both bond and transfer registrations
- Experience in Ghost Practice will be an advantage
- Valid Driver’s license
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans is a requirement
