Purpose:

The job holder will be responsible to provide Contractual support to section head including contract reviews. Support services in relation to legal to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and procedures for smooth ruining of the business activities.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide support in preparing Issue to inquiries suppliers/subcontractors and prepare bid summaries for review and pre-approval, optimizing procurement processes and securing competitive bids. Provide procurement and contractual advice and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

identify, address, and minimize contract-related issues, safeguarding the company’s interests .

Review and finalize advisory recommendations on Contractor claims, ensuring fair and equitable resolution of claims, maintaining financial transparency, and upholding the company’s reputation for integrity orders Minimized supplier/contract disputes.

Settlement of all pending/legacy variation orders, claims, and disputes in a timely manner.

Job Accountabilities

Negotiate, draft, review and advise upon, all required legal documentation in relation to the company matters, including corporate matters, leases (commercial, residential, and retail), facilities management agreements, property management agreements, development agreements, assignment agreements, settlement agreements, confidentiality agreements, MOUS, LOIs, and all other related and ancillary documents.

Provide legal consultation, advice, and support to companies across the Group in respect of both existing and prospective matters, and to identify, contain and manage exposure and contingent risk.

Ensure proper compliance by Group companies with all property laws and regulations including, but not limited to, Dubai Landlord and Tenant Law, and the Strata Law.

To manage litigation and liaise with external lawyers and (with input from local and external legal counsel) will also need to be familiar with applicable laws in respect of Group property related businesses operating in the region and beyond.

Provide advice in respect of more general commercial matters (including intellectual property, agency, distributorship, franchising, and finance issues) as well as advising on the management and conduct of various contentious matters. To also provide advice, as and when required, on construction related matters.

Ensure the correct submission of legal requirements as required by Corporate Governance and any other statutory requirements regarding the formation and operation of the company.

Qualifications, Experiences, Skills:

Min. 10 years of experience with at least 8 years negotiating, drafting, and executing complex contracts in real estate industry.

Educated in Bachelors of Law (LLB)
