Standard Job Description

Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics F-35 development is seeking a Level 3 Contract Management individual to manage and negotiate F-35 development contracts . The successful candidate will be responsible for the life-cycle management of contracts, including leading contract negotiation and administration efforts across multiple subprograms, working closely with cross-functional teams, and providing strategic guidance and expertise to ensure contractual compliance and achievement of business objectives.

Typical activities can include:

  • Leading contract management functions, including contract negotiation, contract administration, and contract close-out
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including program management, finance, and engineering, to ensure contract requirements are met and risks are mitigated
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, and partners

• Analyzing and resolving complex contract issues• Ensuring contract compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Must be a US Citizen.

  • Experience with various contract types.
  • Experience with issuing, managing, and closing out DOD contracts.
  • Experience with complex development
  • Experience with FAR and DFAR.
  • Lead experience
  • Good organizational / communication experience

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 – $168200.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): :$81500.00 – $151300.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): :$72500.00 – $134600.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): :$65200.00 – $121200.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX; etc.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
