Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Cairo for a Contracts Engineer. The Contracts Engineer will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, as well as supporting procurement and project management teams. They will liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with legal and company standards. Additionally, they will evaluate risks, provide recommendations, and manage contract documentation and amendments throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts
- 3+ years of experience is a MUST.
- knowledge in Saudi Arabian Engineering contracts is a MUST.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and project management
- Ability to assess and mitigate contractual risks effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
- Familiarity with legal and compliance standards in engineering projects
- Proficiency in relevant software for contract management
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related discipline
- Prior experience in engineering, construction, or consultancy roles is a plus
