Overview
The San Diego office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a legal secretary with litigation experience. Experience in both litigation and workers’ compensation is a plus. The primary responsibilities of this position include working for a minimum of (4) attorneys. Essential functions of this role include filing and serving documents both state and federal, creating legal documents, docketing, scheduling of appointments including travel, depositions, and various meetings, opening new matters, and processing various financial related tasks.

Responsibilities
Job Specifications/Requirements:
High school diploma
At least three (3) years of litigation experience as a secretary or paralegal
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to maintain and handle confidential information
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
