The Role
As a core member of the Oxford contracts team, you will play an integral and highly visible role in the organization’s success. This attorney is primarily responsible for supporting the organization’s business objectives by providing sound legal counsel and advocacy through commercial contract negotiation and strategic business support. You will partner with award-winning sales professionals on deal strategy, drive contract negotiations, and leverage top-of-class problem solving to build and maintain strong client engagements externally, and a network of supportive colleagues internally.

Responsibilities
Based on the experience you offer, your responsibilities may include:
- Draft/Review, revise, and negotiate client‐based, complex and non-standard service agreements as well as statements of work and similar.
- Draft/Review, revise and negotiate ancillary agreements including confidentiality and non‐compete agreements, data privacy and business associate agreements.
- Draft/Review, revise, create, and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Review proposed line‐item exceptions to the organization’s standard client, contractor and staff agreements.
- Be available and able to provide counsel to internal stakeholders on such agreements; provide risk mitigation strategies that enable the organization to prioritize business objectives.
- Support RFP response efforts and participate in, and advise on, new deal reviews.
- Conduct legal research on transactional and regulatory matters.
- Assist with special projects.
- Provide training and assistance to other team members, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
About You – Qualifications
- You have a passion for closing deals, for problem solving, and learning new skills.
- You hold a JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in at least one state.
- You have a minimum of three years in a corporate or law firm setting; at least two years’ experience as a contract lawyer performing the above tasks in-house and or within a firm; you may also have valuable sales and business experience.
- You manage and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong organizational skills, follow‐up, and attention to detail.
- You are skilled at conveying legal advice clearly and effectively to non-legal team members.
- As a true team player and consensus builder, you demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus opportunity, benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and a collaborative environment that fosters and promotes career development. At the time of posting, the starting annual salary for this position is $110k – $160k. Actual compensation for this role will be driven by, among other factors, the selected candidate’s direct experience, alignment with the job requirements, overall professional background, and pay equity needs.
