We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team on a contract basis, supporting a non-profit organization in Reston, Virginia. In this role, you will oversee the drafting, review, and management of a variety of commercial contracts—including those related to trademark matters—ensuring compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in contract management, proven experience handling trademark issues, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and resolve any discrepancies.

• Maintain and organize contract records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

• Provide guidance and support to departments on contract-related matters, including interpretation and implementation.

• Monitor contract deadlines and obligations, ensuring timely execution and fulfillment of requirements.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential issues within contract provisions.

• Stay informed about legal and regulatory changes that may impact contract management processes.

• Assist with audits and reporting related to contracts, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Support the Vice President, Legal, and other leadership roles with contract-related tasks and projects.

• Ensure adherence to best practices for contract lifecycle management within the organization.

• Proven experience in contract administration or management, preferably within a non-profit or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and legal terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in contract management systems and software.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex contract language.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
