We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Administrator to manage a broad range of subcontractor and supplier agreements across a range of commercial projects. This is a newly created role due to organic growth.
- Full-time position
- Fixed-term contract for 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months
Key accountabilities for this role will be:
- Experienced with contracting methodologies, contract documents, contract management processes, ideally within a consulting environment;
- Manage contracts through all phases, including scope preparation, procurement, contract drafting, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations processing, completion and close out;
- Assess commercial and contractual risks, identify, and implement appropriate controls and escalate actual or potential issues to Senior Management;
- Ensure cost forecasting for allocated subcontracts and cost codes (including those allocated to direct reports) are accurately maintained and cost issues are appropriately escalated upon identification;
- Month end reporting including cost forecasts;
- Review existing projects and put in place Master Services Agreements with all major clients;
- Manage annual rate review process.
Our Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
- 10 years’ experience in a commercial environment preferably in a consulting firm.
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in contract law or relevant sector.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- A strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage projects effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
