Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including general litigation matters, real estate disputes, contract claims, landlord-tenant issues, and family law. This role requires excellent research skills and the ability to effectively negotiate on behalf of clients. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Duties
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy.
Draft legal documents including contracts, wills, and pleadings.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
Provide expert legal advice on matters related to Workers Compensation Law, Environmental Law, Estate Planning, Securities Law, and Family Law.
Maintain accurate records of cases and client interactions.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients’ interests.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation for clients.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in New York State.
Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research databases like Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes for clients.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
