Job Description:
NorthStar Energy is seeking landmen with at least 3 years of oil & gas title experience in the Rockies or Permian Basin. This project will run through the end of 2026 and possibly longer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a due diligence review of leases and various other agreements and ensure accuracy of client’s internal files and Quorum records.
- Update mineral and leasehold ownership through research of county records.
- Provide weekly updates as to progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience determining mineral and leasehold title in Rockies or Permian Basin. Must outline work history timelines and areas worked on resume.
- Ability to work independently.
- Communicate timely and professionally with Project Manager.
- High attention to detail, organization and ability to analyze and manage large volumes of data.
- Ability to review, interpret and comprehend lease provisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Navigate various databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quorum experience.
- AAPL Membership.
- JD, CPL or RPL.
- Degree in Energy Management or Petroleum Land Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Compensation:
- Rates are based on experience and performance. There is opportunity for growth.
Start Date:
- As soon as possible.
