Insight Global is seeking a Contract Manager to join their team remotely (EST) with periodic travel to Greenville, SC and domestic/international project sites. This role is responsible for leading contract management support across complex equipment and power plant projects, with a strong focus on mitigating high-value commercial risks and claims. The Contract Manager will oversee change order execution, pursue extensions of time and EPC-related claims, and manage insurance and supplier recoveries. Day-to-day responsibilities include pre-award contract risk analysis, drafting and negotiating subcontractor terms, maintaining contract documentation and tracking systems, and supporting project teams with contractual notifications and deliverables. This individual will play a key role in resolving commercial issues, preparing claims mitigation strategies and presentations for customers, and ensuring all contractual processes (including internal order releases and change orders) are properly executed in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Must Have Skillsets
- 5+ years of contract administration experience on large-scale or complex projects
- 5+ years of project management experience or equivalent hands-on project delivery experience
- Strong claims management experience, including change orders, extensions of time, and dispute resolution
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and terms & conditions
- Experience with risk mitigation strategies, insurance claims, and supplier/vendor recovery processes
- Bachelor’s degree required

- Background in engineering, construction, or power/energy (EPC) industry
- Experience with domestic and international prime contracts
- Advanced knowledge of business law and contract structures
- Construction claims negotiation experience
- Experience with internal systems for contract/order management (e.g., electronic order release systems)
- Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP) or similar formal PM training
Compensation:
$58/hr to $62/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
