We are looking for an experienced Section Manager – Contract department to support our business through effective contract management, legal advisory, and compliance.

This role will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, providing practical legal advice to internal stakeholders, and ensuring that the company’s business activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The role will also oversee matters related to intellectual property and insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and provide legal comments on commercial contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents in both Thai and English.
  • Provide practical legal advice to business units and internal stakeholders to support commercial objectives while minimizing legal and contractual risks.
  • Manage the end-to-end contract process, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, amendment, and termination.
  • Monitor contractual obligations and ensure agreements are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Manage the company’s trademarks, service marks, and other intellectual property matters in Thailand and overseas.
  • Coordinate corporate insurance matters, including property insurance, other insurance coverage, and insurance claims.
  • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and provide recommendations to minimize potential business risks.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, regulators, business partners, insurers, and other relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned by superior in relation to contract department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
  • Approximately 5–7 years of experience in Corporate Legal, Commercial Contracts, or Contract Management, preferably within an in-house legal environment.
  • Strong experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts in both Thai and English.
  • Solid knowledge of contract law, business law, and relevant commercial regulations.
  • Strong analytical, legal risk assessment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate legal requirements into practical business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with team members within the legal department and across different functions.
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to manage multiple contracts and priorities within deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English
