We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager – Major Power Construction Projects with a leading energy client in Houston, TX.
Position Details:

• Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Potential Extension)
• Pay Rate: $63/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead drafting, negotiation, redlining, and execution of high-value construction contracts for natural gas and power infrastructure projects.
• Analyze contract terms, identify risks, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with legal counsel, project teams, procurement, engineering, and finance stakeholders.
• Manage contract performance, change orders, disputes, audits, and corrective actions.
• Prepare executive-level reports on contract status, project risks, costs, and milestones.
• Support vendor evaluations, procurement activities, and post-award contract administration.
• Oversee insurance endorsements, billing, compliance, and fiscal projections.
• Provide expertise on EPC, design-build, and other large-scale construction procurements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of contract management/analysis experience.
• 3–5+ years supporting energy, oil & gas, power, or large construction projects.
• Strong experience with EPC contract drafting, negotiation, and execution for large-scale projects.
• Proven experience managing high-visibility contracts with executive-level exposure.
• Strong financial, risk assessment, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
