Role Overview:
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing all contractual aspects of projects in Riyadh, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. The role involves contract drafting, negotiation, administration, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution, aligning with project objectives and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements in line with project requirements and Saudi regulations.
Manage the full contract lifecycle, including administration, variations, claims, extensions, and terminations.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
Handle claims and dispute resolution, working closely with legal advisors when necessary.
Ensure compliance with FIDIC and other relevant contract frameworks applicable in Saudi Arabia.
Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, and documentation.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external parties to ensure contractual clarity.
Provide guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance to project teams.
Support procurement and project teams in contractual decision-making and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in contract management, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Saudi contract laws.
Proven experience in claims management, dispute resolution, and arbitration processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
