Job Purpose:

The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle from pre-award to post-award stages, ensuring all contractual engagements comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements. This role serves as the focal point for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial, government, and international contracts. The Contract Manager will provide subject-matter expertise to support business operations while mitigating legal and financial risks in alignment with the company’s strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contractual documents including NDAs, MoUs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, amendments, and service-level agreements.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and customer requirements (including KSA tender and procurement laws and regulations).

Maintain accurate and updated records of all contracts and associated correspondence in the contract management system.

Monitor contract performance and obligations, including key deliverables, milestones, and payment terms.

Risk Management & Compliance:

Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks through effective structuring and negotiation.

Support internal compliance with internal delegations of authority (DoA), governance frameworks, and approval processes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, legal, and trade compliance obligations.

Participate in audits, internal reviews, and investigations as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiations:

Serve as a primary point of contact for all contractual matters with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Programs, Finance, Supply Chain) and external parties.

Lead or support negotiations with vendors, partners, and government entities to secure favorable contract terms.

Support business development initiatives by advising on contract strategy and risk during bid and proposal stages.

Policy & Process Development:

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract management procedures, templates, and playbooks.

Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract processes and legal/commercial risk awareness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field (Legal background preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in contract management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a highly regulated industry.

Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial and government contracts.

Solid understanding of KSA contracting practices.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong legal and commercial acumen.

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.

Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.

External: Suppliers, Prime Contractors, Government Authorities, Legal Counsel, International Partners.
