Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid 3 days a week in office)

Shift – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

This position is for the Power/Energy division.

We are looking for a Contract Management Specialist will be analyzing contract terms, identifying contractual risks, drafting and negotiating agreements, and advising management on risks, mitigations, and market conditions related to T&Cs.

Be the trusted advisor and manage legal matters/risks in relation to general commercial and contract law in international business for our client’s Gas Services Business (including general legal aspects concerning intellectual property, product liability, procurement, administrative and general corporate law, torts, and claims).

Proactively assist and contribute to mastering business challenges through entrepreneurial thinking (balancing governance and business needs).

Maintain and further improve best in class Legal department.

Advance process optimization and lean principles to gain efficiencies.

Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency, and speaking up for inclusion and diversity.

Collaborate closely within the global LC community.

Develop and provide training and educate key stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other field relevant to the client’s core offerings. J.D. preferred but not required.

3 – 5 years experience in contract management or corporate legal teams in the Energy industry or related technology field.

Advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of years of experience.

Demonstrated success in handling complex contracts specific to the sale of parts, goods, software, digital solutions, and services for the Energy industry.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively lead or support a negotiating team consisting of Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Proposals, and Project Implementation personnel.

Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently and work well in groups.

Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.

The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and generate team consensus to move forward.

Excellent verbal communication and writing skills with demonstrated ability to develop and communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of stakeholders
