Brunel is recruiting Contract Management Professionals to work with our major energy client for initially 6 months contract in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities:
Candidate will be working on inter-disciplinary teams to respond to customer contract terms.
Responsible for analyzing contracts terms, identifying contractual risks, drafting and negotiating agreements, and advising company’s management on risks, mitigations, and market conditions related to T&Cs.
When you are not working on commercial matters with business partners and customers, you will be working with your legal and compliance colleagues to ensure that our standards are kept current with emerging legal landscape, market conditions, and new product and solutions offerings in the Energy transition.
Manage legal matters/risks in relation to general commercial and contract law in international business for company’s Gas Services Business (including general legal aspects concerning intellectual property, product liability, procurement, administrative and general corporate law, torts and claims).
Proactively assist and contribute to mastering business challenges by entrepreneurial thinking (balancing governance and business needs).
Maintain and further improve best in class Legal department.
Advance process optimization and lean principles to gain efficiencies.
Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency, speak up and inclusion and diversity.
Develop and provide training and educate key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other field relevant to company’s core offerings. J.D. preferred but not required.
3 – 5 years’ experience in contract management or corporate legal teams in the Energy industry or related technology field. Advance degrees may be considered in lieu of years of experience.
Demonstrated success of handling complex contracts specific to the sale of parts, goods, software, digital solutions, and services for the Energy industry.
Strong negotiations skills with the ability to effectively lead or support a negotiating team consisting of Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Proposals, and Project Implementation personnel.
Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently and work well in groups.
Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills with demonstrated ability to develop and communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of stakeholders
