Our client, a leading asset manager, is seeking a Contract Legal Officer to support their Compliance and Legal team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with experience in the investment management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and agreements.
Assist with compliance matters related to mutual funds, private investment funds, and equity separate accounts.
Ensure adherence to SEC and foreign regulatory requirements.
Develop and update policies and procedures.
Review and assist in the preparation of fund marketing materials.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
2+ years of legal experience in the investment management industry.
Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and compliance best practices.
Experience with contract review, negotiation, and regulatory filings.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
