Job Description
The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Law Clerk. This role will conduct high level conflicts analysis and work closely with colleagues to move clients through the conflicts process. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced law clerk with strong analytical, research, and writing skills who is looking to join a fast-paced and collaborative team.
Responsibilities Include:
Distill complex data and break down legal issues into logical summaries
Maintain conflicts database, managing firm client, client subsidiary, and affiliate information
Navigate ethics walls and screens
Oversee the work of non-attorney staff
Qualifications Include:
Law degree from accredited institution
2+ years firm experience
Familiarity with DC Rules of Professional Conduct or equivalent from other jurisdictions
Advanced legal research and analytical skills
Professional writing and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with Intapp OPEN or similar
Candidates for this position must be based in the DMV, New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles. Salary is dependent on experience and location.
